Happy New Year!

The year might witness the fall from power of great men.

I feel in my soul that we control our destiny. The only obstacle we face is the willingness to realize this. Compassion-Caring-Comfort-Committment- Be Open Minded and Voice your Thoughts. Silence is deadly. LOVE YOURSELF AND OPEN YOUR HEART

A feeling of anticipation... or something of the sort. An electricity. It is surrounding us all, and I notice it in every molecule of my being every day. I'm not the only one who feels it. Something is approaching. We move faster and faster toward something. I have searchred my soul for the answer to that something, and have only one conclusion. The key to this world's survival past the upcoming millinium, and into the next lies in the building of relationships. With ourselves, with others, and with God. We need to come to an understanding of them all.

I feel what the great prophet, Nostrodamus, predicted will come true because so many of his predictions have come true in the past. Ryan Martin

A free press is a privately owned press. The essence of our propaganda system of media frames how we see the world and our behavior through REPETITION.

I think the 2000's will bring new exciting things!! Your friend Natalie Weidner

IS ALL OF THE HISTORY WE LEARNED IN HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE ACCURATE ? OR HAS IT BEEN CHANGED TO SUIT THE "WRITER'S" POLITICAL AGENDA. EXAMPLE: THE ATOMIC BOMB AT HIROSHIMA AND THE SMITHSONIAN VIEW OF EVENTS LEADING TO THAT DECISION. THE SMITHSONIAN'S "HISTORY" WAS VASTLY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I REMEMBERED HAPPENED. HOW MANY TIMES OVER THE CENTURIES HAS THIS HAPPENED? B. MARTIN

I am actually getting very psyched about the century turning and flipping all of the dials on the digital clock. We need three zeros. It will keep us whole.

We have lost our private idenity to a corporate idenity. Is this our computer idenity? We have less personal rights and become less human to be an inity for the ocmputer. Andy Warhol is a model of corporate idenity.

The following is for Equinox '98 By the year 2,000 or before - I hope some one will discover a pill or recipe for people who have lost their enthusiasum and interest in Life. We just can't let these souls depart without the joy of experiencing every moment; the beauty found in people, sky, flowers, children, trees, animals, the earth and even bugs. Please Lord, let us discover how to somehow impart a magic potion of Love and Respect for all of Life, to restore us all. Jean Skaife Cedar Key, Florida

In France, we are beginning over 100 philo-cafes. We come together over coffe to debate and question. We seek reassurance in our uneasy times. Some come to find an antidote to massive indigestion due the flood of information, the flood of products, and the flood of sound bites.

The folk singer Pete Seigar remarked that everyone always assumes he is an optimist; however, he feels he is really a pessamist. He doesn't believe people will be around in 100 years; but he's doing everything he can to change that.

India and Pakistan have both exploded atomic bombs this year! Now more countries have more bombs. How many more countries have to have parity with Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

Peter Barton in the Art Times, June '98 says the next century will be as different from this one as this one was from the last. We'll have accommodations on Mars and new worlds to choose from. What sort of art will the Capital Plaza of Mars have?

y2k: this "problem" is going to sink our WAY. THEY say. Calling all old programers come and save the day, or the century as it where. That would be IRONIC is what was holding commerce togeather was all these intricate patterns of NUMBER, 0/1. And it became unraveled so easy. Ruff Time

A place where money to another world had "no value" provided no inducement "to sell" rather the Confederacy of Tribes asked that the United States consider reparation for the vulnerable settlers itself used as insulation before their, the Indians' own fury, over the theft of land, actual sustenance, "We know these settlers are poor, or they would never have ventured to live in a country which has been in constant trouble since they crossed the Ohio. Divide therefore this large sum of money which you have offered to us among these people...and we are persuaded that they would readily accept in lieu of the lands you sold to them. If you add also the great sums you must expend in raising and paying armies with a view to force us to yield...our country, you will certainly have more than sufficient for the purpose of repaying these settlers for all their labor..."This proposal at Detroit 1793 to restore the boundary of the Oyo for the consent of all parties "thereto." The American response to this humanity more active in knowledge than their own "Declaration of Independence" was first, to condemn the Wyandot runners who delivered it as "wild" in their look, the proposal "impertinent and insolent" and then, too unbelievable for persons "haveing knowledge" to be "an Indian speech" suggesting as it did counter-revolution, in place of the one already going dead, a historical recovery of life and dreams. This seeing through the central swindle needed to be punished as an omen and waves of violation specially invented to drown it. David Matlin

Greenville, Ohio isn't this the place where Anthony Wayne defeated the many Indian tribes and 'took' Ohio? It is called Treaty City. Later the settlers renigged on the treaty and removed all the Indians from Ohio. Hitler studied these tactics as he developed his plans to purge his land. Are we seeing this in our current massive building of huge prison system industry. What is our country to become when it imprisons the young males of minority races.

Greenville, Ohio isn't this Treaty City where the settlers/army and American Indians agreed only to have the whites repudiate the treaty and purge Ohio of Indians. Hitler studied these tactics in planning his ethnic cleansing of Germany. Where is a country and a people going when we have this history? Why not build the largest prison system in history and purge our country of young male minorities by locking them down at the price of $40,000 per man.

The rash of movies like Armaggedon and Deep Impact seem like it's doomsday again! But we all know that it's fiction. Our obsession with the end of the world is being made fun of ..... and rightly so! We should all be cheering that we're moving along into a new millennium!

From David Matlin Anthony Wayne created the first movie sets even the metaphysics by which Buffalo Bill could construct a circus out of the elimination. Per shots fired and what it equalled. The ratio of the fallen. The Body Count in public as a private effect formed on the American tongue. Bite Capacity and its proximations to powder-combat cartridges-the French M1763 and patterns of fire it could sustain. The "Rifle Cutters" Wayne, Kalashnikov, Stoner. The extremity of the painting from these roots forward, no velleity anywhere. The cool masses of silence, the historical subject matter testing the intransigence of the paint.

As the country focuses on the compulsive details of President Clinton's relationship with his intern Monica Lewinski, are we seeing the computer society extrapolated to our private lives. All the internet garbage dumped from this affair is available to us all in volumns. It overloads our sense of human well being and privacy. The tedious detail that computers can conjure is being forced into public/private lives by politicians who have nothing better to do with our monies. Education is omitted for prisons. We're making a society of peoples condemned to prison camps and an industry of surplus people that the stock market depends upon.

Racism will become a thing of the past. Time travel will be nearer possible. Peace will prevail upon this lonely planet. I will make a couple of million bucks. Live long & prosper.

Performance artist Rachael Rosenthal's performance "filename: FUTUR-FAX is described byDeborah J. Haynes in Fall '97 Art Journal as taking place where "Water is scarce; animals and trees extinct or dead; food-when it is available at all after standing in long lines-is produced on government hydofarms; total social anarchy makes life dangerous whild global warming has made live uncomfortable. . the remaining population experiences keen boredom that couses uncontrollable seizures. . . human life is slowly fading. . . . no new makes can be born. . .art is superfluous; humans no longer carry a sense of its subversive potenital. the technologies that promised so much function only intermittently when the electricity allows."

For the first time in history just about everyone knows the new Millennium is coming. There are Millennium TV series, a millenia car, etc. Revelation says "when the 1000 years are expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison" With the Y3K problem that the change from 1999 to 2000 will be like something the writers of Revelation couldn't begin to imagine. Disney and Seattle's Space Needle were sold out for New Years Eve '99 in 1997.

Hearings for President Clinton's impeachment begin today, 11/18/98. This is the 3rd time in US history that an attempt was made for impeachment. If nothing else, Clinton will be remembered for that! Starr makes Clinton a long lasting star.
