ARTIST Collaborators: EQuinox '90-2000
Susan Dallas-Swann conceived, & designed EQuinox '90-2000 during an Artist Residency at the Headlands Center for the Arts near San Francisco in 1990. She is a light sculptor and conceptual artist, her sculptures are present in all EQuinox installations. Susan explains the project in the EQuinox '90-2000 movie available on request.
Gerald Horn began collaborating with Susan on this project in 1990 and has collaborated on this project every year with the exception ‘91. He is a painter and monochordist. The EQuinox '90-2000 CD-ROM and WEB site was created by Gerald Horn 1996-2005.
Jamy Sheridan collaborated on EQuinox ‘94 at S.P.A.C.E.S., Cleveland, Ohio. He was software consultant for EQuinox ‘95 at the Fundacio Pilar i Joan Miro a Mallorca, Spain, EQuinox ‘99. He was software consultant and collaborated on the digital installation of EQuinox 2000 at Art Resources Transfer, Inc., N.Y., N.Y.
Zlatta Baum collaborated on EQuinox ‘99 and EQuinox 2000 digital animation and installation at A.R.T. Art Resources Transfer, Inc, N.Y., N.Y.
Tony Jones shot and edited video footage about the project, and in 1992 made the telecommunications site on CompServe a reality. In 1999 he made the "real audio" file for the EQuinox '90-2000 movie. Tony Jones digitally rendered the EQuinox Message dialogue in surround sound for EQoes an MP3 project of a digital composition by T. Jones with Susan's voice and Gerald's monochord. EQoes went online for EQuinox 2000.
Louise Anderson told equinox stories in her unique North Carolina style in EQuinox '90 and appears in the EQuinox '90-2000 movie.
Brian Tripp performed song /drum chants and dance to fix the earth in EQuinox '90 and appears in the EQuinox '90-2000 movie.
